What the DGCA figures tell you
In its favour
- A large fleet for an Indian FTO: DGCA lists 48 aircraft, which is more capacity to absorb an aircraft going unserviceable.
- 3 multi-engine aircraft listed, so the multi-engine part of the course is less likely to be a bottleneck.
- 5 flying bases, which gives the school somewhere to send aircraft when one airfield is weather-bound or busy.
- DGCA approval runs to July 2030, so renewal is not an immediate question.
Check before you commit
- With several bases, confirm which airfield you would actually fly from and where you would live. The address you enrol at is not always where the hours happen.
- The nearest weather station is not the airfield itself for at least one base, so live reports are an approximation of what you would actually be flying in.
Every line above restates a figure from DGCA's published documents and says why it matters. Nothing here is our opinion of the school, and none of it measures teaching quality, which no public document reports.
Typical flying weather
The southwest monsoon (Jun–Sep) is the main disruption; the rest of the year is largely stable and flyable, which is why several of the largest FTOs are based here.
This is a broad regional pattern, not a forecast. What actually matters is how many days a year this base can fly — ask the school for its weather-cancelled sortie count.

Model this school's costAircraft-to-student ratio is the single best predictor of finishing on time, but DGCA does not publish student numbers — the fleet shown here is one half of that sum, and only the school can give you the other. Ask how many aircraft are serviceable today. Last transcribed 27 Jul 2026.
Beyond the DGCA list
Researched by us from the school's own site, Wikipedia and official pages, then dated and cited. This is weaker evidence than the DGCA figures above, and it is free editorial work: no school pays to appear here, and nothing in this section affects ordering, filtering or ranking anywhere on the site.
- Ground school
- Runs its own ground school
- Runs its own CPL ground classes, including an online option for the DGCA subjects.
In its favour
- Recognised by the Aero Club of India as its best-performing flying academy for four consecutive years, which is a third-party award rather than a self-assessment.
- The largest base network in this directory: DGCA lists five bases, spread across four states.
- Publishes its CPL course structure in detail, including 200 total hours, 100 pilot-in-command hours and 20 instrument hours on aircraft.
- Offers type rating and MCC/JIT in-house, so the step after CPL does not need a different provider.
Check before you commit
- The academy advertises six bases including one in Colombo, Sri Lanka, plus several more as coming soon. DGCA's list carries five Indian bases. Confirm in writing which one you would be posted to.
- It lists single and multi-engine simulators without naming the devices. Ask what they are and how many hours count towards your licence.
Weather at these bases
The five bases span very different climates: Baramati and Seoni are inland and monsoon-driven, Kalaburagi and Belagavi sit on the Deccan, and Lilabari in Assam has by far the heaviest and longest rainfall of any base in this directory. Ask which base you would fly from before assuming a flying-days figure.
